The hacked to bits quilt is actually a "double wide dresden".. google it-- looked super fun to make, and I have to tell you, it was immensely satisfying to cut. The scraps are a really weird shap and I tried, but getting even a 1-1/2" square was hard-- I freed myself and threw them out!
